Conversations in English · Middelfart and Funen
The goal is reached. Now what?
You may have sold the company, left the executive chair or arrived at the place you worked towards for years. Everyone expects relief, and what you notice is a strange quiet. This page, written in English, describes conversations for that moment.
This site describes online conversations with the psychologist Frank for people at the end of a big chapter. The sessions are offered by djursland-psykologen.dk.
See the framework and the waiting list The main site is in Danish.
Sessions in English, online or in Mørke
The conversations take place in English if you prefer. Online is the main route: you sit at home in Middelfart or in your office, with no transport and no waiting room. Frank's clinic is in Mørke on Djursland, and in-person sessions there are possible too.
You get a fixed weekly evening slot and the same psychologist from start to finish. Capacity is limited and there is typically a waiting list, so no start date can be promised. Signing up is non-binding and happens through the main site.
The quiet after success
While you work towards a goal, the goal carries you. It gives structure, meaning and a reason to get up. When it is reached, the frame disappears, and for some people that feels like losing their footing even though everything looks fine from the outside.
- What do I do with my days now that nobody is waiting for me?
- Who am I without the title?
- Was this really what I wanted to achieve?
Questions like these do not need a quick answer. They need a place where they can be said aloud. The text describes common experiences and is neither a diagnosis nor an assessment of you.
What the conversations can focus on
Identity beyond a role, a sense of direction, what mattered along the way and what should make room for itself in the next few years. For some people the next chapter is a new venture, for others it is more presence at home or simply a slower pace. Sessions can give space to explore this without having to decide anything.
The next chapter does not need to be planned before you start talking about it.
Typical clients are former owners, executives after a sale or a departure, founders, busy professionals and people with an international background who want to speak English.

Questions and answers
Is it all online?
Online is the main route, so you can talk from home without travelling. Sessions can also be held in person in Mørke on Djursland, and in either case they can be in English.
Do I need a clear reason to begin?
No. Feeling that something is missing, without being able to say what, is a perfectly good place to start. You do not need a finished explanation.
Will my GP or anyone else be told?
No. Your GP, your municipality, your partner or spouse and your workplace are not informed. The sessions are private, need no referral and are covered by the psychologist's duty of confidentiality.
Can my company pay?
Yes. Many people have the invoice paid by their company or workplace, but you can also pay yourself. For terms and prices, see the practical information page (in Danish).
